Let’s talk about carbon dioxide removal, the was it it is done, natural, the recyclable lime-potash process, amines, mature processes developed in the early 1900s… We just need to gigascale like we do so many things on Earth. Costs are much less than what we spend on health care in the US alone.

Emissions reductions and carbon removal are both mandatory because tipping points have been crossed and they do not self-restore unless the threshold crossing is reversed.

Fire – one of the 9 tipping systems that is now active. Two record largest fires ever recorded in New Mexico this year.

Climate Change Across America Filming: this year’s film is about sequoias, where 20 percent of all sequoias were killed by fire in 2020 and 2021, 12,000 mature trees, where California is burning more area than in pre-European times only Cal Fire alone, not counting local Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service spending,  spent $3.2 billion fighting fires in 2020, versus $0 in pre-European times.
