I just ran across this in the Athens paper (Georgia). I recognized the researcher, but have not had the time to chase down the article that the Athens paper, uh, failed to mention in their reporting… But the title says it all anyway.
The Athens reporter did say that this researcher says “Forests in Georgia and other Eastern states might look a lot different in a few decades as global climate change intensifies, according to University of Georgia forest ecologist Jacqueline Mohan.”
Dr. Mohan was the researcher that told us a few years ago that poison ivy would and already is prospering on a warmer planet.
